What it means to me to lead a GRACE GUIDED LIFE?
Motherhood and parenting in general can be such a fleeting but rewarding journey. It can go bye in the blink of an eye. Throughout your life we will reflect back on these times and wonder what we could have done differently or better. Give yourself grace my friend. Because God gives us grace through the form of kindness and forgiveness, we too can walk through life giving ourselves grace. By grace through faith is how we should approach each day.
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2: 8-9NIV
Want to learn more about Claire and her story?
I’ve compiled some blog post together that I feel encompass a lot about Claire, the emotions I have gone through in my motherhood journey and the challenges we have overcome as family.
A little more about my family!
My husband Scott and I got married in 2008 and started our family of 5 with Ava Kate in 2012 full of sass and independence. We were blessed with Claire in 2014 and she was a ray of sunshine added to our family. I am formally a high school marketing teacher, and decided to become a SAHM once we had our 3rd child, Holden in 2019. He is all boy and a burst of energy to our household but so fun!

A little about my Blog!
Hey ya’ll I am the autism mama behind Grace Guided Life which was started in 2018 as a way for me to find community with other mothers of children with disabilities. My daughter Claire was born with several genetic disorders (2014) and was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy (2017) and autism (2020).
As I travel though new seasons of motherhood, I wanted a place to share my motherhood journey, worries, and laughs so that is where GGL came in! I have a passion for traveling, making memories as a family and advocating for my children! I hope to share the joy of travel, resources and info that can encourage you in your parenting journey to make memories as a whole family!
I love to connect with those in this community. Let’s build a strong bond through relatable stories and words from the heart. I hope you find something here that you can resinate with. I want you to feel like you have another friend just one IG message away. Feel free to connect with me on Instagram below!
